Marie Thorndahl - Paintings

Danish painter Marie Thorndahl, who lives and works in France and Switzerland, practices contemporary figurative painting with a particular focus on portraiture. She has developed her own narrative technique, drawing on both academic traditions and contemporary creative processes. Through series of paintings, she explores the human figure and landscape, situating figuration within social and political questions.

Christine Goy – Sculptures

Trained at the Geneva School of Fine Arts, Christine Goy primarily sculpts faces in which gaze and expression occupy a central place. Through clay, she seeks to bring forth presence and immediate emotion. Her work has been exhibited in Switzerland and France, notably at the Salon des Artistes Français at the Grand Palais in Paris, where she received an honorable mention, and at the ARPADI Biennial in Divonne-les-Bains, where she won the Visitors' Award in 2022.

Of Catalan origin, Xavi Solà studied Fine Arts at the University of Seville. He now lives in Valais, Switzerland, where he directs Art Academy Sierre. His artistic practice centers largely on portraiture, approached with virtuosity and moving between classical representation and freer graphic exploration. Deeply attached to nature and the mountains, he also paints Alpine landscapes with equal mastery, while casting a distinctly vintage eye on the colorful world of winter sports.

Based in Stockholm and spending extended periods in Haute-Savoie, Arvid Fonser recently won the Jury's Award at the ARPADI Art Biennial in Divonne-les-Bains. The painting of this young Swedish artist focuses on contemporary urban environments, where structure, perspective and atmosphere take center stage. Through compositions in muted tones, he explores transitional spaces—roads, infrastructures and peripheral zones—creating images that are at once quiet, constructed and subtly distanced from reality.

Trained notably at the Royal Drawing School and the Heatherley School of Fine Art in London, he exhibits regularly in Switzerland and France. His work has recently been shown at Fondation l’Estrée in Ropraz, Galerie le Bunker in Sainte-Croix, and at the Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture à l’Eau at the Grand Palais in Paris.
